ps ai labs

Client type: B2B services

Industry: Artificial intelligence, machine learning, enterprise analytics

Services: 1-page website copy

PS AI Labs was a baby start-up when I met them, 1-2 years old. Their website had been hastily put together by the VP of global growth in a weekend, and hadn’t been re-visited since. The sales team had been complaining that it looked unprofessional, and in early 2021 it was time for a change.

In the highly technical field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, it can be very tempting to include a lot of jargon and credentials on a website in order to look like you know what you’re doing. It’s less easy to think about what other hopes and fears are in the minds of your potential clients as they consider booking a call, and speak to that. But the team was game for the challenge, so that’s what we did.

We decided to message the website from the point of view of a department director considering AI for the first time. What are the worries in his or her mind when embarking on a potentially risky and expensive project like this? PS AI Labs had many unique value propositions to offer to such a person. With the department director as the “hero” of the page, and PS AI Labs as their “guide” to the world of AI, this new page is now a jargon-free asset to the sales team.

“Casey helped us create copy for a new website. She did a terrific job and guided us through the whole process very clearly. Her working style is professional and collaborative which made the process very smooth. She also had a great working relationship with the web design team. What I particularly liked was her outside-in perspective on our industry and her ability to keep us focused on who was the hero of the copy story (spoiler here...it is not us!). Would definitely work with Casey again.”
